A major classification of dizziness is the dizziness with or without moving or both
the patient notices a sensation of abnormal balance with or without moving. Nausea
may or may not be present.

Possible course of treatment:
after taking a careful history from the patient, a careful ear exam, and possible
hearing test, treatment consists of vestibular (moving exercises of the head) exercises
and Valium. Valium is really the only successful treatment for dizziness and vertigo.
Dizziness usually is gone in 2 - 4 weeks.
