testing the hearing of a person, child (the child may have failed a hearing test at
school) or adult that may have a hearing loss or definitely has a hearing loss.
After a careful history of the hearing loss is taken and a careful ear exam, hearing
testing is done in a sound proof booth to determine if a hearing loss is found and
if found, how bad the hearing loss is. After the hearing test, then a course of
treatment is discussed depending on the amount of loss found.
